The owner & founder, Max Palay, wanted to strongly emphasise this in the brand identity. Friend is a genuine, welcoming place where no amount of corny or quirky personality is out of place.

The graphic solution is yeast infused, where the handcrafted finish provides a sense of humane motion & emotion. The wordmark has a "rising" look about it, highlighting the magic that is the mix of yeast, flour & water. The secondary logo or badge is concurrently kneading the dough while also waving "Hello, welcome”. The BFF mascots highlights the diversity of a community where everyone is welcome. Finally, by inserting pop-cultural references of friendship into the messaging the vibes are set. Keep your friends close, but your baked goods & pizza closer.
