When Minc was founded by the city of Malmö in 2002,
it was one of Scandinavia’s first startup incubator programs. Since then, the increasingly complete startup house has become a natural meeting place, a strong brand and a driving force in Malmö’s new startup district. But somewhere along the way, the brand’s expression and identity had also begun to fade.

to maintain recognition and developed the parts that needed some extra character.
I was asked to create a library of brand illustrations. The house functions as a stage for start-ups and is a breeding ground for ideas and opportunities. This insight informed the development of 10 hand-drawn isometric core illustrations. That spatial sensibility was important to represent the house as a physical space, hence depth is present throughout the extended library — Playful and unpolished spot illustrations that provides the identity with flexibility.
